At Assist Digital NL we are specialists in CX transformations. This year, we are enhancing synergy by integrating our companies within the group (The Valley, Penfield Digital & Nominow) under the Assist Digital label, making our CX proposition even stronger for both existing and new clients. Therefore, we are looking to strengthen our commercial team.

We work on challenging projects for renowned national and international brands such as Nike, AZ, Randstad, Hertog Jan, Daikin, Tommy Hilfiger, KPN, Postcode Lottery, ING, Makro, Talpa, Linda, and Lely.

About the role

Being a Experienced Business Development Manager at Assist Digital NL means playing a pivotal role in identifying and creating new business opportunities. You are at the forefront of forging strategic relationships and developing a robust sales and marketing strategy. Your expertise bridges the gap between the operational management and the boardroom, translating digital roadmaps into actionable collaborations.

In this role, you leverage your network and insights to drive lead generation and partnership building. You are meticulous in managing your pipeline through CRM systems like Hubspot and are experienced in navigating pitches, RFPs, RFIs, and tenders. You work closely with management and executive teams on larger sales initiatives and report directly to the CCO.

You understand the nuances of customer experience, digital transformations, and data & automation. Your strategic mindset allows you to balance client business objectives with emerging market trends, ensuring sustainable growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the realms of customer experience, digital transformations, and data & automation.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, from operational management to board level.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that meet client needs.

  • Contribute to the development and evolution of our CX proposition.

  • Onboard new clients and ensure a smooth transition to account/project management teams.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and execution.

Ideally, you have

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within a digital agency or consultancy environment.

  • A strong network within the digital and/or tech industry, with agency experience being a plus.

  • Proficiency in using lead generation tools and CRM systems.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

  • Fluency in Dutch and English, with proficiency at the C1 level or native.

  • Willingness to travel internationally.
