Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager at Assist Digital NL, you don't just manage tasks; you don’t back down from running multiple projects at the same time. You are the steady hand navigating high-risk, complex projects and the strategic mind that translates ambitious goals into executable reality. While complemented by CX projects and commercial campaigns, your role is primarily focused on driving digital projects.

Reporting directly to the COO, you serve as a mentor to our team of PMs and a vital strategic partner to the Business Development Manager and the Account team. You are the one who sees the "big picture" while ensuring not a single detail falls through the cracks.

Key responsibilities

You will be focusing on:

• Complex delivery: Lead large-scale, cross-discipline projects involving 3rd party vendors and multiple stakeholders. You have a knack for turning complex issues into practical, executable roadmaps.

• Strategic growth: You don't just wait for a brief. You collaborate with Account Managers to detect client needs and identify opportunities to grow our impact.

• Process architecture: You are the auditor of the PM workflows. If a stand-up is inefficient or a briefing template is unclear, you don't just complain; you fix it.

• Mentorship: You take pride in coaching the next generation of PMs, helping them navigate difficult client conversations and prioritize their workloads.

• Crisis management: When a project goes off the rails, you are the escalation point. You step in to renegotiate timelines, calm the room, and steer the ship back to safety.

• Dynamic solutions: Pressure is no issue for you, processing information rapidly and identifying practical solutions even when the situation is dynamic.

Your profile

• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager within an agency environment.

• Budget management: Proven track record of managing significant budgets from 10k to 500k+.

• Agile expertise: Deep knowledge of agile working methodologies.

• Communication: Fluent in Dutch and English (C1 level). You can explain the reasoning behind technical choices to non-technical stakeholders.

• Mindset: Strategic, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.

• Soft skills: High emotional intelligence and good negotiation skills.
